Summer Music Program 2009
Drum & Guitar Camp
Children will play on a drum set and be introduced to reading and playing fun percussion music, keeping the beat and playing rhythms on buckets and boomwackers! Strumming chords and playing songs, will immediately engage the children on the guitar. In the last lesson both drumming / percussion, boomwackers and guitars will join in a fun jamming session.
Time: All sessions will be from 9:00 am – Noon

• Bring your own guitar or talk to us about a rental.
• Please bring a snack & drink.
All our following music classes & lessons will run for ten weeks in the summer:
June 1st through August 29th, except for the week of June 29th - July 4th when we will be closed.
Fall classes begin Monday, August 31, 2009.
Please see Pricing page for our pricing information. During the summer months students will be charged only for the pre-arranged lessons/classes that they are able to attend. There is no registration fee during the summer months.
Early Childhood Music Program
Introduction to the World of Music
At Philomusica, children are welcomed to "A Musical Playground" where they can experience music in a fun, hands-on environment that will adjust to their needs as they develop and grow.
All classes are 45 minutes and once weekly.

Pre-Piano
A natural progression from Early Childhood Music Program to Group Piano Classes
Pre-piano lessons consist of keyboard geography, correct hand position, and finger numbering (e.g thumb=1, baby finger=5), and the recognition of letters A to G.
All classes are 45 minutes and once weekly.
Pricing: $190 = ten weeks or $20 per class

Group Piano
A natural progression from Early Childhood Music Program to Group Piano Classes
This class consists of an individual piano lesson for each participant as well as group theory, moving games and occasionally music computer games. The setting is suitable for combining different ages.
All classes are 55 minutes and once weekly.

Individual Private Instrument Lessons
Expert tuition in the instrument of your choice.

Scheduling of individual instrument lessons must be done with the School administration and not with the teacher.
