Branden Sipes

Branden Sipes is a Colorado native singer/songwriter and guitarist. A Colorado State University graduate, Branden received a B.A. in Music and a B.S. in Business Administration in 2006 through study in classical guitar, voice, and marketing. Since finishing school he has set his music career in motion with a busy schedule of performing, recording, and teaching guitar.

Teaching group classes and private lessons at Philomusica since 2005, Branden is enthusiastic about the opportunity to share his passion for guitar. Taking on students at any age or ability, he caters guitar lessons to the material students are interested in learning while emphasizing the importance of becoming literate in standard notation. Covering a range of musical styles from classical to rock to jazz, Branden works to ensure lessons are fun while focusing on fundamental techniques.

Branden is an active performer presenting original acoustic rock songs or appearing as a classical guitarist. Songs from his debut release, Contemplation, have been featured on 93.3 KTCL and 88.9 KRFC along with several internet radio stations nationwide. Branden has been awarded 1st Alternate in the 2008 Telluride Troubadour Competition and Honorable Mention in the 2008 Rocky Mountain Folks Festival.
